We have already held 2 Member Townhalls in KI Park! The KI Park Members Townhall Meeting is a bimonthly, virtual, 1-hour meeting that welcomes KI Park Member Ambassadors. KI Park Ambassadors are the main contact persons who manage the bridge between KI Park and member companies. By attending the Townhall meetings, you can quickly and efficiently stay updated about all the KI Park upcoming activities and learn about all the projects. You can also share your activities with the ecosystem and get to know other members.

Expert Groups
In the first quarter of 2024, we introduced a new addition to the KI Park: Expert Groups. These groups are made up of members of KI Park who are recognised as leaders in their respective fields. Evenly split between industry and technology, these expert groups will come together to address pressing challenges and explore relevant solutions in their fields. Together, they develop collaborative projects and formats to advance KI Park's mission - united as an ecosystem.

Within last three months, KI Park has travelled to Essen, Frankfurt-am-Main, Münster and Stockholm!
The highly anticipated event "State of AI: Present Insights, Future Prospects" organised together with TechQuartier, hessian.ai and EDITH took place in Frankfurt on February 1st, drawing over 120 attendees eager to delve into AI advancements. The event was moderated by Marc Karahan (KI Park).
The keynotes by industry experts such as Emily J. Ryan(Google Cloud), Dr. Benedikt Flöter (YPOG) and Sebastian Schäfer (27pilots) covered topics ranging from tech developments to regulatory implications. A panel discussion led by Christina von Heydenaber (KI Park) featured insights from Dr. Marko Petzold (Record Evolution), Shannon Kehoe(Cleverbridge), and Jeanette Bouffier(Teresa.AI) on AI trends and best practices. "TechTranscend: AI in Corporate Industries," co-organized with BRYCK.COM, took place on February 6th in Essen. It was moderated by Marc Karaham (KI Park). Attendees, ranging from AI enthusiasts to corporate decision-makers, focused on transformative AI applications in Corporate Industries.
After the opening speech by Olly Salzmann (KI Park), there was a round of keynotes by Prof. Dr. Reiner Kurzhals and Dr. Dietmar C. Schloesser. They provided deep insights into AI strategies and real-world use cases. The panel discussion featuring Jan Löwer (deeplify GmbH), Martin Rueckert (Diamant Software GmbH), and Nicolas March (Vathos) and moderated by Clemens Binder (KI Park) showcased innovative AI applications such as non-destructive material testing and computer vision in robotics.

On February 27th in Münster, VDI Münsterländer Bezirksverein e.V. organised an event in collaboration with KI Park, Zweitag, and IHK Nord Westfalen to explore AI's role in addressing SMEs' skilled worker shortages. More than 60 SMEs has joined us that day!
Dr. Florian Schütz, our KI Park’s Managing Director, not only kickstarted the day with an engaging opening speech but also led two workshop sessions. These sessions were focused on uncovering AI use cases specific to SMEs, showcasing the critical role of ecosystems like KI Park in facilitating AI adoption. The event highlighted how AI can help SMEs overcome challenges related to digitalization and skilled labour shortages. The photos from the day can be found here.
On the 21st of March KI I AI Park Satellitein Stockholm has held its first event in collaboration with German-Swedish Chamber of Commerce: “Horizons of Applied AI”. Sonja Galkin (Business Area Manager for AI, Analytics & Data at H&M Group) and Damon Fouladi (Solution Advisor for Retail at SAP) discussed the implementation of AI in large companies to streamline processes and its impact on data, innovation, and strategy. The keynote speeches and panel discussion, moderated by Marc Karahan from KI Park, focused on the benefits of AI and its potential to transform business operations.
Sonja highlighted using Demand Forecast for reducing overproduction by predicting sales. Key points included aligning AI with company strategy, investment and value expectation, ensuring data quality, incorporating diverse internal ideas, prioritizing tasks, fostering partnerships, viewing AI as a supportive colleague, and advocating for experimentation in AI projects. AI Driven Next Generation Compliance
On April 25th, we will enter the new round with the Executive Circle "AI Driven Next Generation Compliance". During this event, designed for CEOs and decision-makers, we will showcase the results of a collaborative study by KI Park, WTS Germany, and the Federation of German Industries (BDI) on how AI can be applied for ensuring compliance. The event will be held in German language.
KI Park's CEO, Prof. Dr. Sabina Jeschke, and Dr. Tobias Fuchs, the Managing Director at WTS Legal and the Chairman of the Advisory Board of KI Park, will present the study's findings. The speech will be followed by a panel discussion titled "Strong voices: The art of regulation between control and freedom". The discussion will provide insights and perspectives from industry, consulting, and politics. The esteemed panelists are Prof. Dr. Siegfrid Russwurm (President of BDI), Fritz Esterer (CEO of WTS Group AG), and Claudia Plattner (President of BSI).
KI Park announces the open call for participants from SMEs for the AI forSustainability Connect Program! Partnering with Venture Builder triebwerk.ai (wattx) and Start2 Group (former German Entrepreneurship), the Program addresses SMEs in the manufacturing and production sector to solve their sustainability challenges with state-of-the-art AI solutions by leading start-ups in the industry. Within 6 months the experts from KI Park, triebwerk.ai and Start2Group accompany participating organizations along the whole innovation process from use-case identification, and matchmaking to practical implementation.

We are delighted to welcome Dr. Dirk Goldner, the Managing Director at Diamant Software GmbH, and Laura Möller, the new Director at K.I.E.Z., to the KI Park Administrative Board! Our Advisory Board was also extended by welcoming Dr. Oliver Fink, Director at Deloitte Consulting GmbH, and Dr. Michael Nolting, Senior Director of Digital Services & Data Analytics at Volkswagen. We are looking forward to the upcoming collaboration!

Clemes Binder’s Flagship Team was strengthened by our new working student Alyona Stepanova, who has a background of project management at AIESEC and administration. She is pursuing a MA in English Studies at LMU and currently writing her master thesis on AI-supported language learning.
Eva Zhan has joined Evita Milan’s Innovation & Partnerships team. Currently enrolled in her M.Sc. Environmental Sciences and Technology, she is passionate about addressing global challenges through sustainable solutions.
