⭕️ AI, Data Protection and Corporate Practice: From GDPR Compliance to AI Regulatory Sandboxes

The program covers practical approaches to implementing AI systems in a GDPR-compliant way, including legal requirements and technical implementation, plus real-world case studies on global data & AI compliance programs and privacy-by-design measures such as data masking and anonymization. A second focus is AI regulatory sandboxes (“KI-Reallabore”), with perspectives on opportunities and supervisory expectations, followed by a panel discussion on AI, data protection, and corporate practice. The event features impulses from the Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (BfDI), Volkswagen, Boehringer Ingelheim, and nenna.ai.

How Blockchain May Fix the KYC Issues in Banking
KYC remains one of the most costly and manual banking processes. In the second session of our joint KYC initiative with five banks, we explored how blockchain can unlock major efficiency gains — with insights from norbloc CEO Astyanax Kanakakis on a successful UAE rollout. We're now evaluating how this could work in the German banking landscape.
